What was your first Olympic Games memory?

Sitting with my dad and brother on the sofa watching Linford Christie win in 1992.

What has been the best ever Olympic Games and why?

The best Olympic Games for me were the last London Olympics in 1948. The world was still recovering from one of the worst times in history but people still got behind their nation to support their athletes. Even in a time of rationing and economic turmoil it shows how sport can unite people.

How did you find out London was to host the 2012 Olympics and where were you?

I was sitting in the lounge of my then coach Tom McNab watching the TV with him and my training partner at the time Lucy Boggis and her father.

I will go into the games like every other competition I enter. To win!
