The Scottish hammer thrower has been charged with rule violation contrary to IAA Anti-Doping Rule Article 2.5 “tampering or attempted tampering with any part of doping control”. In layman’s terms, this can relate to any stage of the doping control process, from providing false information to intimidating a possible witness.
UK Athletics must now follow a strict process and a full investigation will be opened relating to the allegations.
