England Athletics supporting International Women’s Day

It’s International Women’s Day today and as part of the ‘Pledge for Parity’ initiative of International Women’s Day, England Athletics have specific events to help support women in coaching.

Across the country a number of open sessions with leading female coaches from the National Coaching Development programme and female-only workshops have been set up to take place from Sunday 6th March to Sunday 13th March. There will be an opportunity to observe coaches, gain new ideas, build confidence and build a network with like minded females.

England Athletics have also given 25 women the opportunity to receive a coaching bursary to complete a coach education qualification to enhance their knowledge and coaching expertise. Click here to read more.
