Review

The More Mile Cheviot is a sturdy fell running shoe with very aggressive grip. It is hugely supportive for those who are prone to turning ankles but because of this it is heavier than other fell racing shoes like the Adidas Swoop or Inov8 Mudclaw. There is good cushioning and a strong upper so should put up with regularly stomping through peat bogs.

It's the most supportive running shoe I've worn and was pleasantly surprised with how they felt to run in. I don't think I'd choose them to race in as I would prefer something a little more light weight but I will be using these on my long Sunday runs. They are great for steady running and respond well when picking up the pace on tricky descents.

The grip is very good and has kept me on my feet so far, the grip is also good laterally which I have found lacking in other trail shoes so they cope well when contouring muddy terrain; however a degree of comfort and responsiveness is lost in order to provide the grip and durability that makes this shoe stand out.

With them being so sturdy I'd recommend them for training in or to anyone wanting fell walking shoes as opposed to boots. If you're out for the day and want to do a bit of walking and a bit of running they're ideal. They also make a good training shoe for those terrible winter conditions.
